“My work sits where fine jewellery, contemporary craft, and art meet.”

My Story

I am a third-generation jeweller, qualified gemmologist, and contemporary jewellery artist with more than 20 years of experience.

Jewellery has always been more than decoration to me. It carries memory, love, identity, place, and meaning. A piece of jewellery can mark a moment, hold a story, and be passed from one generation to the next.

My training includes a Master of Fine Art and Design and an Associateship at JamFactory Contemporary Craft and Design. These experiences shaped my love of traditional craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and making things properly.

At Mayben Jeweller, I create bespoke and one-of-a-kind pieces using carefully selected materials, including Tasmanian stones, abalone shell, Australian mother of pearl, recycled precious metals, and hand-selected gemstones from Australia and around the world.

I also offer hands-on jewellery workshops, including the chance for couples to make their own wedding bands a deeply personal way to create something meaningful together.

Alongside my studio work, I maintain a contemporary art practice, with works exhibited nationally and available through FIND Contemporary Jewellery Collective in Salamanca, Hobart.

Selected pieces may also be purchased through the Tasmanian Government’s COLLECT Scheme, offering interest-free loans for original Tasmanian art and design.

Mayben Jeweller is built on craftsmanship, care, and the belief that jewellery should last, physically, emotionally, and across generations.
