MY STORY

Hello and welcome to MAYBEN / JEWELLER. My studio practice of nearly 20 years is driven by a desire to create beautiful bespoke jewellery, using the finest Tasmanian materials, as well as stones collected from around the world.

I am a third-generation jeweller with a Masters of Fine Arts and an Associateship from the Adelaide-based Jam Factory Contemporary Crafts and Design. I love to share my passion, skills, and knowledge with those who have an appreciation for the handcrafted. MAKE YOUR OWN WEDDING BAND experience, as well as the weekend and weekly workshops are designed to be fun, social, and inspiring experiences where customers leave with beautiful works they can be proud of.

 

While I can work directly with you to make custom-made items, I also sustain my own art practice with works exhibited nationally and representation at Handmark Gallery Salamanca. Works are also available through the Tasmania Government initiative COLLECT SCHEME, meaning you can access an interest-free loan and buy my work when you need it. https://www.collect-art.com.au/
