Join us for a captivating two-part workshop that will take place on two consecutive Saturdays, May 11th and 25th, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm. During the first day, you will embark on an exciting journey of design and carving as you meticulously shape the jeweller's wax. With guidance and support, you will create exquisite handmade sterling silver rings that are sure to catch the eye. This workshop is perfect for beginners and those interested in delving deeper into the lost wax technique, as it welcomes participants of all skill levels. Let your creativity soar as you explore various wax carving and embellishment techniques. We provide all the materials, tools, and expert tuition you need to bring your visions to life. It is important to note that due to the heat involved in the casting process, we encourage students to use the stones provided. If you wish to bring your own stones, please discuss with us beforehand to ensure their suitability for this technique. On the second day of the workshop, you will focus on the finishing touches that truly elevate your creations. Dive into the art of filing, sanding, and polishing, and discover the transformative power of stamping, hammering, or applying a patina. By the end of the workshop, you will not only have crafted at least two stunning sterling silver rings but also have the opportunity to create a pendant, brooch, or earrings, allowing you to express your creativity in multiple forms. This workshop may be canceled if the minimum number of enrolments is not met. In the case of cancellation by the venue or tutor, a full refund or a credit toward a future class will be given.

Cancellation Policy

MAYBEN workshops have limited seating, and many of our workshops sell out. For this reason, if you cannot attend your scheduled class, you will be given either a credit towards a future MAYBEN class or a partial refund. 90% of enrolment cost refunded or credited towards future class 7 days or more before the class date, 50% of the enrolment cost will be refunded 2 – 7 days before the class date, 20% within 24 hours before the class date. In the event of the minimum number of enrolments not being met, a workshop may be canceled. In the case of cancelation by the venue or tutor full refund or a credit toward a future class will be given.
